Wow! Finally, a company/brand that gets it. Some of us don't feel like making espresso or coffee in the morning. We get tired of driving to our nearest coffee shop. We don't want to buy Espresso Doubleshots from the grocery because, even the light version has calories and fat (plus disgusting Sucralose - Splenda). "illy issimo Caffe - No sugar" is exactly what is says it is. a 6.8 oz can of brewed Espresso with no artificial sweetners, no milk, no cream, nothing. It has 15 calories per can...thats because Coffee beans do have oil on them and contain some calories. Each can has around 150mg Caffiene (I cannot recall). That is 150 mg in 6.8 oz of espresso. Basically, just over the caffiene amount of a dopio (double) espresso from a major coffee chain. I can add my own non-fat milk and be set, add some cold water and ice if I want...even add some PureVia or Truvia (Stevia Type Zero Calorie Sweetener) which is all natural and much better for you (with no after taste). I can add whatever I want. I basically can put into my body, exactly what I want to; let's not forget the convenience factor of grabbing a can, as you run out the door, and downing it in the car. Best thing I've ever found on Amazon!!! Life is now complete...I don't even have to leave the house to get good iced espresso. By the way...the drink I normally get at "The Bux" is about $3.45. A 12-pack on here is $25.00 currently. If I drink 1 a day, for 36 days - That would cost $75.00. If I go to my favorite coffee house for 36 days - It would cost around $125.00. I don't think there is a question as to cheaper, more convenient, and better.

This is one heck of a good cold cappuccino drink. I like this much more than the syrup sweet thick Starbucks variety.
Illy is a maker of excellent espresso coffee and machines. They are all over Europe, where the red square with Illy on it is visible, the espresso will be good - never great or spectacular, but never bad; always the same, always very good. It makes sense that they would produce a very nice clean not too sweet iced cappuccino drink in a can.
The comparison to Starbucks Frappuccinos is just too easy to make. Starbucks packs 180 calories and a lot more sugar in their drink. They are good and tailored to the sweet tooth, more like a sweet soda pop than an espresso beverage. Illy's drink is about half as sweet and feels a lot thinner in the mouth. These are all good things. There's a good strong flavor of an espresso. The milk flavor is slightly burnt or caramel, a good flavor that reminds me of steamed milk.
Illy does something a little bit different from Starbucks. Where Starbucks builds their mouth feel with sugar, Illy has chosen to use a bit of gum in the mix (carageenan, cellulose, and cellulose gel). It's a very simple food science issue, milk and coffee alone will end up feeling like water from the can. In order to make the drink taste rich, they have to add some body to it - Starbucks chose sugar and Illy chose gum. I'd take the gum over the additional sugar any day of the week.
I really like this drink a lot more than Starbucks. I love the clean espresso and milk flavor without the sweetness. I liked this drink so much I've purchased a four pack and shared it with my wife. She really likes this drink also.

I really like this drink. Especially when it is really chilled. I really enjoy it for several reasons. The first is that is taste like mocha coffee - not chocolate milk someone served in a coffee cup! It has just the right blend of coffee and mocha.
The other thing I really like about this drink is that it is only 100 calories! The ingredients list is:
Coffee (water, coffee)
Lowfat milk
Sugar
Cocoa powder
cellulose gel
potassium bicarbonate
potassium citrate
cellulose gum
carrageenan
So, while it isn't the most "pure" ingredient list - nothing makes me want to run and hide. I like this drink so much I have it on my subscribe and save for monthly delivery!

If you love espresso, but are always on the run, this is a great product. I am a huge coffee drinker, and this, plus the other version with low fat milk, and a little sugar, are both great. I love the option to grab this, black and unsweetened, or the if in the mood, the lightly sweetened version, when running around with no time to brew my own. The quality is very high, and I gave this 4 stars, instead of 5, only because it is very expensive. If the high price is offset by the convenience, as it is for me, give this, or actually any of the illy coffees a try, they are all great. Also, travels with you very easily, as a few of the 6.8 ounce size cans can go in a briefcase, or any bag with ease.

I've seen these and other illy cans and packages on store shelves forever. This is my first taste of one of their products. Boy, am I late to the party! This stuff is tasty! I am a coffee drinker but I rarely get a cold coffee drink at Starbucks or other shops. I do get cappuccinos though. This is different. The instructions on the can are to not shake it. So, you are not going to get a frothy top foam. I took a picture and will upload it. It has a nice coffee with added ingredients color. There is cocoa and milk in it as well as sugar. At 100 calories for 8.5 ounces it's not that bad as sweetened drinks go, still 18 grams of sugar is a lot. Then again it tastes good so that's what's important with this type of beverage.
I liked it far more than I thought I would. It passes the treat beverage test. Tasty, refreshing and a bit of a caffeine boost. Great stuff!
