This item looks great, however, there is no glazing on the inside so moisture gets into the inside and stays there, causing the salt and pepper to solidify. The stoppers didn't fit and I had to tape them onto the bottom. No matter, the salt and pepper solidified and I couldn't get anything out from either the top or the bottom. I am throwing them away!

The salt and pepper shakers set came in great condition, My only gripe is that the holes are so big and to much salt or pepper comes out at one time.
