Dunk in your coffee Stella DOro Breakfast Cookies!Mar 20, 2011
By Monterey Bay Forum For years I've eaten Stella Dora Original Cookies -- when I can find them. Never thought that I could get them on Amazon. Stella Dora Breakfast treats are great to DUNK in your first cup of coffee in the morning. I'm doing so right now! Just the right bit of sweetness. Each time I buy them I'm reminded of the Italian friend who first introduced me to them. What are your memories eating Stella Dora cookies? Stella D'oro 100 Cal Breakfast Treat 6/ .8oz Bags (6 Pack)

favorite coffee treat, but hard as rockNov 11, 2008
By Archie Debunker i've been addicted to these babies for years, but OnLineCandyShop's stock has obviously been on the shelf for months. although they were within the "sell by" date, stella d'oro's packaging is such that they turn into little anisette-flavored bricks if not sold relatively quickly. save yourself a disappointment and shop elsewhere :/

Quality ?Jan 18, 2009
By Patricia L. Demarest I grew up with Stella D'Oro products, but have been unable to get them since I moved out west. I purchased some recently and was disappointed. The Investment firm that bought Stella D'Oro has replaced striking workers with scabs and the products have suffered. Out here, similar cookies sell for twice the price. I don't know why the Stella D'Oro company feels it is better to lower wages than to increase prices to a level comparable to other premium cookies (look at Nonni's biscotti for example). Anyhow, until the strike is settled, I'd opt to email the owners and let them know you'll pay more for a substitute than buy their inferior quality products.
