Colorful and had nice photos and historical information. The maps were nice but did not have route numbers on it. You had to get them from the text. It would have been helpful to have suggestions on where to stop for lunch.

This book was very helpful for exploring a beautiful part of Italy. We especially loved the descriptive write-ups of places to see and things to do. Would use this again.

there just wasn't enough info on each town. It's good for planning the drives, but you will need another book if you want details on the various towns.
