Great Rhum baba!Jan 22, 2007

Since I was a child I've always liked rhum babas. Here in LA, the place to buy one was an Italian Bakery called Sarno's on Vermont. Unfortunately, it has been closed for some time and I sorely miss it.
This product comes in a glass container and even though it is soaked in rum (20 proof), it is not soggy. The babas are small, almost bite-sized.
I made some whipped cream and had some for Christmas eve.
I only wish I could find this product on a shelf here in LA...
