 Unbelievably Heavenly. Andrea Bocelli is a wonder!Feb 26, 1999
I first started listening to Andrea Bocelli about one year ago and have not stopped since. I listen to him every day. I keep his Romaza CD in my car and my 2 1/2 year old son sings along with me to "Con te partiro". As far as the "Night in Tuscany" videotape, It's wonderful because he has some opera and a few other different songs that give you an idea of the diversity of his music. There is something for everyone. He is talented and handsome. I enjoy sitting down at night (after the baby has retired for the evening) and just watching this beautiful video of this amazing man in his hometown of Pisa. The settting is gorgeous (the Tuscany Region of Italy) and I would love to be sitting right there every time I watch. I did get a chance to see him live in concert when he played at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island. What a treat! If you ever get the chance, spring for the tickets... it's well worth every penny. Enjoy!

Andrea Bocelli may lead some to actually enjoy opera.Nov 20, 1999
It is amazing to watch the reactions of those who hear Andrea Bocelli the first time. I have friends who typically listen to country music, and they will immediately ask where they can purchase one of his CD's. We had friends over to watch the Tuscany DVD and the wife was close to tears and kept saying she had goosebumps from the performance. In today's environment, Andrea provides a beautiful respite from the "noise" on the radio. Like Sarah Brightman, he is a beautiful addition to our world!

Let me start right off by saying I hate opera. Even translated into English, I hate it. I can take the three tenors only in very small doses. With that said, I am thrilled to say the Andrea Bocelli is absolutely fantastic! His voice and the music are so achingly beautiful it nearly makes me cry. I never thought I would ever like any opera, but this video has made me a huge Andrea Bocelli fan now! The duets are no less wonderful than his solo pieces, and the little biographical/interview pieces are utterly charming. This is a must-have video for any music lover. I would have gladly paid three times the retail price to own this incredible masterpiece.

Proof of his talentJun 28, 2001
The greatest proof of a performer's talent (and also a rarity) is that performer's ability to sound better in concert than on a recording. On this video, Andrea Bocelli proves that the beauty of his voice is not the product of a skilled studio engineer but the gift of an amazing singer. From the opening notes of "Nessun Dorma" to the final duet of "Time To Say Goodbye" with Sarah Brightman, the viewer is treated to a balanced combination of concert footage, views of the Tuscan countryside and personal observations by the artist. In particular, the concert renditions of songs from "Romanza" included on this video are superior to the studio recordings, with subtle phrasing and such a lovely tone. The video showcases Bocelli's versatility by including classical, pop and Italian folk songs as well as duets with Nuccia Focile, Zucchero and the above-mentioned Ms. Brightman. I had the pleasure of attending a concert on Bocelli's 2001 US tour and can vouch for the fact that Andrea Bocelli truly sounds even better "live"-I can think of only a handful of other performers of whom I could say the same. This tape ably recreates that concert experience!

On this DVD, we are treated to an outdoor concert (given to a packed crowd) featuring the blind tenor from Tuscany (region of central Italy), Andrea Bocelli. The setting for this concert is the historic Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa, Italy. Europe has embraced this man whose remarkable voice and range is capable of singing great operatic arias and classic popular songs.
On this DVD, are arias and popular songs that are sung primarily in Italian. There are also interspersed vignettes involving the man himself. We are also treated to gorgeous travel photography of Tuscany. All in all, we learn about the man behind the performer.
He has four guests featured in this concert:
